Sheraton Hotels For Business Accommodations and Vacation Lodging

December 12th, 2007

Sheraton Hotels Review and other Lodging

I
love the Sheraton Hotel Chain around the world. They have great accommodations including a complete business center with printers, faxes, internet connections in wired and wireless formats and of course I like the wireless connection included in my room so I can connect to home or browse the web or do research online. The Sheraton Hotels are always located near the best night spots for
entertainment and the best restaurants for food. It may be a little
pricey but who’s complaining. The room service is excellent, the beds
are comfortable, and staff in the ones I’ve stayed at are very helpful. The conference rooms are spacious and chairs are comfortable. The conference room coordinator helped me set up my equipment and I was able to test run my presentation before prime time. It is a bit pricey at times but if you search hard enough, you can
often find package deals that will allow you to get a lower priced
room. You can always stay at other locations as well. Where you stay
should be a function of what you plan to do with your vacation or
business trip.

Why You Go = Type of Lodging Required

The
purpose of your trip will determine what kind of lodging you want to
stay in. A nice place online to investigate all these places in out of
the way locations around the world but especially in the United States
and Canada is a place called lodging
. I’ve found some great deals on lodging in North Carolina, Colorado,
California, Texas and Florida - especially around Orlando and Disney
World and Seaworld where prices can be out of this world just because
you’re in Fantasy land. Orlando certainly has a lot of nice places to
go -especially if you have children between 5 and 10. The beaches
like Cocoa Beach are not far away and rental cars are pretty easy to
find - Unlike San Francisco for example, where you’re lucky to be able
to find a good car on a busy weekend day.

Apartment Guide

October 17th, 2007

Partnering with the right
apartment locator can be daunting task and the options provided can be a
difficult decision. Does the apartment locator provide you with quality
information regarding the apartment? How old are the apartments? Does this
apartment complex provide utilities? The list of questions could go on and on.

Your decision should be
based on your own instincts along with any recommendations an apartment locater
may give you. The Dallas/Ft. Worth area has an abundance of apartments to
choose from with each one offering different benefits. A trusting apartment
locator should be knowledgeable in finding several locations for you to choose
meeting your qualifications.

Considering A Budget Hotel?

August 29th, 2007

Hotel accommodation tends to vary widely throughout the world. From unique hotels, to luxury suites that cost thousands of dollars per room a night, to the large hotel chains that have several buildings in every town or city, there are as many hotels and motels to stay in, as there are types of people who stay in them.

But not everyone has the monetary budget to stay in an expensive accommodation for even a single night, let alone a weekend break or a longer holiday. Luckily there is another alternative that is available in most big cities, and what we know as…the budget hotel.

This type of service is ideal for those of us who take business trips. It is also ideal for individuals who are looking to have a well earned break away, without blowing their budget.

What Kind Of Service Can One Expect From A Budget Hotel?

Typically, budget hotel rooms are going to be a lot more basic than those offered by the bigger and more expensive chains. However, they shouldnt’ be dismissed as being below standard.

If you think about it, any holiday spent away from home is mostly spent outdoors, exploring the views and doing anything except sitting in your hotel room. If you’re going to use your room as nothing more than a base, a place to sleep, and to store your belongings while you are out having a good time, then why not consider a budget room?

Some hotels offer a basic room for a cheap price. Additional services you might expect to find as standard in any other hotel are offered as extras which you will pay for only if you require them. This is a good bargain if for example you never eat breakfast, and never take advantage of the free meal included within the price of your room.

Finding a Good Budget Hotel

Normally, perhaps the best place to start is to enter the phrase “budget hotel” into a search engine to see your results. Some websites are dedicated to providing the best available information on budget accommodation in the country.

Of course the least expensive the budget rooms are, the more basic they will be, but this doesn’t mean the service you will receive will be below standard. Ask and see if any friends or family members can provide you with any recommendations, before searching online to see what’s available.

If you’re looking for a base from which to enjoy a short break, a budget hotel room could provide a way to cut costs while still having a good time.

When to Rent a Beach House in Florida

July 15th, 2007

Each year millions of tourists flock to Florida to soak up the sun and have fun in the water and for the most part, families visit Florida during the summer months to accommodate their children’s school schedule. Unfortunately, this is the “peak season” and hotel accommodations are higher than during the off-season.

A solution to this problem is to rent a Florida beach house. While you might be thinking a beach house would be too expensive, but consider this…

As temperatures can rise to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the months of June through August, many residents leave the state during the hotter summer months and are eager to rent their home to tourists.

Additionally, Florida is a tourist state and many residents purchase beach homes with the sole intent of using them for rental properties. It’s fairly easy to locate a reasonably priced beach house; particularly during the hot and humid summer months.

For the most part, beach house owners advertise their rental beach homes in the Classifieds section of the local paper, or through online forums such as Craig’s List, and others use the services of a property management company.

Bed and Breakfast - A Romanian Journey

July 11th, 2007

Romania is fascinating. You’ve got to go there and feel its pulse to know how the Greek gods were born. Romania, situated within the borders of ancient Thrace, is believed to be the birthplace of Dionysus, but his real origins are lost in the mists of time. In the Greek tragedies, he is depicted disseminating his rites in Thebes, but Homer, in a much earlier document, describes Dionysus as emerging from Thrace and practicing his rites on the holy mountain Nysa. The Thracians were known as “growers of the vine” in the Iliad and today Romania is known as the sixth largest wine producer in the world. Is there a connection between myth and reality?

There’s only one way to find the answer: visiting Romania, tasting the wines, enjoying the traditional food, customs and celebrations click here to find out about Romanian Holidays

Romanian Journey - Bed and Breakfast -

June 26th, 2007

According to The Rough Guide, “No journey to Eastern Europe would be complete without paying a visit to Romania. Outstanding landscapes, a huge diversity of wildlife”. The Rough Guide also gives you traveling alternatives: either on a package deal (and you’ll not be able to see disconcerting realities of the country such as poverty, beggars and so on) or independently. Well, traveling independently is indeed the best idea, but you should never start such a journey without proper research. Why? Because Romania is a wild country. No, not the people (although there are some voices warning you about pickpockets, especially in Bucharest, subway stations and train stations, yet you’ll not find them in the wilderness), but it’s relief and roadway structure: many roads are narrow or lack traffic signs; some are in a really bad condition and require maintenance work. Some roads are not even mapped, especially those traversing the wilderness in the mountains or some villages. Besides to find the bed and breakfast country houses with the offers that are the closest to what you may call Romanian tradition you’ll need a local guide and not the guidance of a specialized tourist agency. Romania’s charm lies in the less visited regions. There you’ll learn the real meaning of Romanian hospitality.
